Northwest Ohio's premier bicycle racing club

Mark your calendars!  Sunday, March 22, 2026 is the first Sunday after spring equinox, and that means only 1 thing, the reliably scheduled Maumee Valley Wheelmen Reliability Challenge!

There are some innovative change coming for the event in 2026.

• 2 different length paved road only routes (R1 and R2)
• 2 different length paved/barely paved/gravel/grass-dirt track routes (PBR1 and PBR 2)
• A "races within the ride that is not a race" system for the PBR1 course

We will ride rain/snow/wind/shine

Race Workers Needed for the road race at the Woodville venue

A Race: 60 min, +3 laps
B Race: 50 min, +3 laps
C Race: 50 min, +3 laps

Venue Details: Oak Openings Industrial Park or "OOIP" was the original name of this venue when the Wheelmen began using it in the 1970's. Today, the actual name of the industrial park is Westwind Business Center. Parking is available at OCP, a small manufacturing company. Restroom but no water available at the venue.

In light of the tragic loss of Rosann Peiffer on Saturday, May 31st, we are cancelling the Woodville road race that is scheduled for this coming Tuesday, June 3.  Refunds or credits for entries already purchased for this event will be made.  Our race calendar will resume on June 10th with a criterium at the OOIP venue.  Please take a moment to watch this news report; it says more about Roseann and our cycling comunity than words can adequately relate.
